Convince with data, inspire with stories
Friederike Oehlerking’s specialist book, which has just been published by Springer Gabler, covers a wide range of topics from the importance of data storytelling, incorporates findings from brain research, explains the steps from attention to decisions and contains valuable tips for the visualization of data and personal appearance.
The structure of the book is strongly reminiscent of Brent Dykes’ standard work “Effective Data-Dtorytelling”, which is also widely cited. The author shares her extensive experience as a project manager in large technology companies with the reader by providing many practical tips. At 115 pages, this compact work is quick to read and easy to digest. Much of it can be implemented immediately. Great for a rainy fall Sunday.
