Communications Trend Radar Report 2022
The Corona pandemic has accelerated or amplified changes in many sectors of society. This creates new opportunities, but also dangers for corporate communications. But which topics are really important? Professors Ansgar Zerfaß (University of Leipzig), Stefan Stieglitz (University of Duisburg-Essen) and their team have intensively observed and evaluated changes in the areas of management, society and technology for the second year in a row. For the coming months, the researchers see the following trends in particular as drivers of change: language awareness, closed communication, gigification, synthetic media and cybersecurity. If you are not yet familiar with most of the terms, despair is not indicated. It is certainly good to be prepared for the fact that these trends are gaining space and thus also have a direct influence on how, or how successfully, we communicate.
